My family and I just came back from vacation. I’ve only been out west when I was young, so the whole adventure in its self had a familiar tint to it. I never saw it like this though.
In the dessert, baking against the rockies, there is a beautiful sense of time in the dry heat. Not only in the left over rail road ties and old foundations of wood bleaching in the sun. The curves and layers in canyons, the passing of turing thunder storms in the distance while the heat of the blue sky frames the performance.
so yeah. I had a good time. Congrats to my brother Erik and Sarah on getting married out there.
